Demonstration Gardens

Adams County Colorado Master Gardeners have two demonstration gardens hosted at the Riverdale Regional Park. One is a traditional garden, found west of the Waymire Dome. The other is our award-winning Xeriscape Demonstration Garden, to be found north of the Waymire Dome. The Xeriscape demonstration garden is a partnership between the Adams County Colorado Master gardeners and Plant Select (https://plantselect.org/), an organization devoted to supplying well adapted, hardy plants for gardens across Colorado and beyond. The Xeriscape garden has been in place since 2009 and we think gets better every year! You can do a digital tour by clicking below or contact our office to schedule a tour for yourself or a small group. We do ask for 1 week notice to schedule tours to ensure we have a Colorado Master Gardener Xeric Garden docent available. Feel free to tour on your own time from dawn until dusk any day.
